Granules, powders, and nanopowders are important materials used in a wide variety of applications, including electronics, energy, and medicine. PI-KEM offers a wide range of products with different properties and specifications.
Granules: Small, solid particles, typically ranging in size from 0.2 to 4 millimetres. Often used in applications where they need to be able to withstand high temperatures or pressures, such as in ceramics and refractories.
Powders: Fine, solid particles, typically ranging from 1 micrometre to 1 millimetre. Used in applications where they need to be able to flow freely or be dispersed in a liquid, such as in paints, coatings, and catalysts.
Nanopowders: Particle sizes typically ranging from 1 to 100 nanometres. They have unique properties, such as high surface area and reactivity, making them ideal for a variety of applications, such as catalysis, drug delivery, and electronics.
Examples of the materials that PI-KEM offers in granule, powder, and nanopowder form include:
- Metals: Aluminium, copper, gold, iron, nickel, silver, tin, zinc
- Ceramics: Alumina, boron nitride, silicon carbide, yttria-stabilized zirconia
- Oxide: Aluminium oxide, cerium oxide, copper oxide, manganese oxide, titanium dioxide
- Others: Carbon black, graphene, molybdenum disulfide
Custom materials, including novel compositions can also be manufactured.
See product overview tables below for our most requested lines, however we welcome any enquiry for other specifications.
PI-KEM also offers a variety of other advanced materials, such as sputtering targets, evaporation materials, and substrates.
