Materials for Li-ion & Na-ion Batteries
NEI develops and manufactures cathode, anode, and solid electrolyte materials for lithium-ion batteries, as well as Na-ion compounds & other compositions not commonly found. Their materials are produced through a scalable and economical solid state synthesis process, which is adaptable to different material compositions and particle morphologies. NEI also specializes in custom synthesis of lithium-ion cathode, anode, and solid electrolyte powders to impart safety, high capacity, long cycle life, high rate and good low temperature performance.
New Materials for Energy Applications
NEI is committed to supporting R&D and prototyping programs in developing and supplying new, custom-synthesized inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid materials for Energy-related applications, namely Energy Storage, Energy Conversion, and Energy Harvesting. This focused initiative also involves a new emerging class of Energy applications that utilize these materials, such as carbon capture, water recovery from ambient air, and recovery of high value, difficult-to-obtain elements.
