As part of our 30th Birthday celebrations, we ran a STEM competition “Science has Superpowers”, where we asked children between the ages of 5 and 18 in the local areas of Tamworth, Kingsbury and Polesworth to get involved and create their very own Science Superhero by designing a poster, writing a story or creating a comic strip or magazine article.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered, you all did an amazing job which made picking a winner very difficult!!

After much deliberation, we have decided the winner of our STEM Science Superhero competition is Thomas Cox (Yr8), who receives a £50 Amazon Voucher. Congratulations to Thomas for his fantastic comic strip based on the ‘Copper Crusader’

Thomas was thrilled to have won and has purchased a Graphics tablet with his £50 Amazon Voucher. We are sure Thomas will be creating lots of wonderful artworks with his new device.

Well done Thomas … you’ve proved that science really does have superpowers!
