Our ‘office dog’ Nell lived with PI-KEM Director’s Colin and Fiona since 2016, following her greyhound racing retirement as ‘Starshine Dakota’.
Her new slower pace of life mainly revolved around choosing which bed to sleep in and coming into the PI-KEM office a few days each month to make regular welfare checks on everyone. Nell was a wonderful dog to have around, we will all miss her friendly face and her pride in wearing the PI-KEM polo shirt.
Colin and Fiona do a wonderful and rewarding job of re-homing dogs from local charity – East Midlands Dog Rescue.
In memory of Nell, the PI-KEM team have donated lots of doggy essentials, such as food, treats and blankets to gift to the charity to provide a little helping hand.
