On 25th June we welcomed Sarah Edwards, Tamworth's MP, and Peter Kyle, the now Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology to PI-KEM.

It was a great opportunity to be able to show them what we do, how we work with science innovation, and discuss business growth.

Sarah Edwards said: "It was a pleasure to welcome the Shadow Minister for Science, Innovation and Technology to Tamworth. We visited PI-KEM, an innovative and dynamic business at the forefront of science and technology based right here in Tamworth. Long term research and development is crucial to keep the UK at the forefront of innovation".

Peter Kyle said: "Businesses like PI-KEM in Tamworth show the strength of British innovation and how we can compete in a global market".

Thank you also to Peter who assisted Colin Rouse, PI-KEM Managing Director, with officially planting the first of many trees to enhance our outdoor space, and make a positive impact on our environment.

Many thanks to all who attended, including the wider parliamentary team, plus Cameron Uppal and Charlotte Elliot of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.
