EPFL laboratory, located in Switzerland, focuses on the development of high performance membranes for the synthesis, characterisation and testing of materials for making membranes used in gas separations.

For more information on their cutting edge research, visit https://las.epfl.ch

The equipment they bought from PI-KEM is primarily for the synthesis of graphene, the main component of their membranes (furnaces, tubes, etc.), and the subsequent testing of them at different temperatures (ovens).

Luis Francisco Villalobos, PhD comments: “My experience with PI-KEM has been very positive.

I always receive feedback fast and the equipment we have bought has been very useful for our research needs. Most of the furnaces and ovens we have in the lab are from MTI. After initial dealings with MTI we had a positive experience buying from PI-KEM.”

PI-KEM wishes the EPFL team much success with their research, and hopes to continue to support the lab in their exciting developments.
