Our Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Warehouse Manager have all completed the British Chambers of Commerce accreditation in International Trade. The award demonstrates that all participants have a competent understanding of customs procedures and how to complete customs declaration forms. It included topics such as import and export processes, customs controls, Incoterms and classification of goods.

The course was invaluable for the company, following the new UK trading rules. It gave us a clear understanding of customs entries, and has allowed us to create a smooth transition for all our export customers. Having attended the course, we were also been able to provide advice to other local businesses – it’s been great to be able to share knowledge and offer help to others who are continuing to work through the changes

To support our Aerospace, Defence and Security clients, PI-KEM has achieved and maintains JOSCAR certified status. This allows us to ensure we are compliant with our customers needs, and can support faster qualification of products and materials for customers in these sectors.

PI-KEM and PI-KEM Hart are committed to upholding health and safety and environmental legislation and is fully compliant with REACH Regulations (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). We are committed to supporting our customers by providing all the relevant information about our products, and assist them with fulfilling their own obligations with this important regulation.
